Prepare this traditional donut recipe to enjoy them sprinkled with sugar, dipped in chocolate, or however you crave, just don’t forget to let them rest long enough for them to be very fluffy.
In a bowl, place the flour and make a well in the center, add the yeast along with the warm milk and a pinch of sugar.
Work together until a dough starts to form. Then add the remaining sugar, salt, butter in pieces, and eggs. Knead everything, cover the dough, and let it rest for an hour in a warm place.
Roll it out on a floured surface with a rolling pin until it is about 8mm thick and cut the dough with a round cookie cutter of 4cm in diameter, making a 1cm diameter hole in the center with an apple corer.
Cover them and let them rest in a warm place for about two hours. Fry them in plenty of hot oil with the side that has risen more facing down. Brown them on both sides, remove them and let them drain on paper towels.
