Prepare these delicious chocolate cups, a small dessert that everyone will love. They are quick to make and also versatile since you can add red fruits to complement them or any fruit you like.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Heat the oil and chocolate in a glass measuring cup in the microwave on high power for 1 to 2 minutes or until completely melted. Add the cocoa powder and stir; let sit for at least 5 minutes.
Beat the egg whites and sugar in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on high speed for 3 minutes or until they have tripled in volume. Reduce the speed to medium-low; add the melted chocolate mixture and beat until well combined. Spoon the batter into 6 medium muffin cups lined with paper baking cups. (The cups should be nearly full).
Bake for 18 minutes or until puffed and the center is firm. Remove from the oven; let cool in the mold for 5 minutes. Serve warm with topping.
