Double Chocolate Cups

Prepare these delicious chocolate cups, a small dessert that everyone will love. They are quick to make and also versatile since you can add red fruits to complement them or any fruit you like.

  • 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1/3 cups cocoa powder
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons whipped cream

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Heat the oil and chocolate in a glass measuring cup in the microwave on high power for 1 to 2 minutes or until completely melted. Add the cocoa powder and stir; let sit for at least 5 minutes.
  • Beat the egg whites and sugar in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on high speed for 3 minutes or until they have tripled in volume. Reduce the speed to medium-low; add the melted chocolate mixture and beat until well combined. Spoon the batter into 6 medium muffin cups lined with paper baking cups. (The cups should be nearly full).
  • Bake for 18 minutes or until puffed and the center is firm. Remove from the oven; let cool in the mold for 5 minutes. Serve warm with topping.
