Homemade Donuts

Prepare these delicious homemade donuts. They are very simple and fun to make. You can make them with your children; I assure you they will have a lot of fun. Treat your family and give them a try.

  • 15 grams dry yeast
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk, warm
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

  • In a bowl, hydrate the yeast with warm milk, add one tablespoon of flour and one tablespoon of sugar. Let the yeast activate and double in size for about 15 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, mix all the remaining ingredients and add the activated yeast. If necessary, add a little more flour until the dough no longer sticks to your hand. Knead for 10 minutes, form a ball, and let it rest for 20 minutes, covering it with a kitchen towel.
  • Once the dough is ready, punch it to release all the air. Roll it out on a flat and clean surface and start cutting the shape of your donuts using a cookie cutter. Let the donuts rest for 10 minutes.
  • And then fry your donuts in plenty of oil for about 1 minute.
