Almond Cookies

Delicious cookies for a gathering with friends and family, perfect to accompany with hot chocolate or coffee on a rainy or cold afternoon. Try them.

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 2 cups flour
  • 135 grams unsalted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Soak the almonds in hot water, peel them, set aside a few, and blend the rest with a little water.
  • Beat the butter to soften it. Sift the flour, make a well in the center, add the butter and the blended almonds, and mix with your hands.
  • Add the cocoa powder, egg white, and sugar. Keep beating.
  • Grease a baking sheet. Pour the dough into a piping bag, squeeze, and form the cookies. Decorate with almonds.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown. Let cool and enjoy.
