225 grams flour
225 grams almonds, ground
150 grams icing sugar
150 grams butter
30 milliliters anise
1 egg

Mix the butter with the sugar and beat until you obtain a cream.
Add the egg and continue beating.
Incorporate the flour and the ground almonds, and mix well.
Add the anise liqueur and mix again until you have a dough.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut into donut shapes. Place the cookies on one or two baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Brush the cookies with a beaten egg.
Place the cookies in a preheated oven at about 180°C for 20 minutes or until they are lightly browned. Allow to cool and serve.
