Cookies with M&M's

This delicious variation of the traditional chocolate chip cookie is loved by kids and can be made with different types of chocolates.

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup m&m´s

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • In a deep bowl with a whisk, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • With an electric mixer, beat the butter with the brown sugar and sugar until fluffy.
  • Add the flour mixture and vanilla extract and gradually beat in all the dough. Finally, add the egg.
  • Add the M&Ms and fold in with a wooden spoon.
  • Prepare 2-3 baking sheets with parchment paper. Place spoonfuls of dough in circles with 5cm between each and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and use a spatula to separate the cookies from the sheet and allow to cool before serving.
