Chocolate Cookie Recipe

  • 1 egg
  • 50 grams cocoa powder
  • 180 grams unsalted butter
  • 120 grams sugar
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Beat the softened butter with the sugar on medium/high speed until you achieve a fluffy mixture.
  • Add the previously beaten egg along with the vanilla essence and beat on low speed.
  • Finally, add the flour, salt, and cocoa powder. Start on low speed and gradually increase until everything is well combined.
  • When the dough is ready, roll it out between two sheets of parchment paper with the help of a rolling pin. Make sure the entire dough is of the same thickness.
  • Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for a minimum of two to three hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 160°C.
  • Bake the cookies for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Let them cool and enjoy.
