6 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder, royal
1 teaspoon dry yeast
2 sticks unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons ginger powder, you can add a little more based on taste
4 tablespoons cinnamon powder
2 tablespoons clove powder
1 tablespoon black pepper powder
1 tablespoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup corn syrup, Karo
200 grams carrot, finely grated

In a deep bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and baking soda (Royal) with a whisk.
In an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until the mixture is fluffy.
Add the spices, salt, eggs, carrots, and honey to the fluffy mixture, and beat until a uniform dough is obtained.
Add the flour to the mixture and combine slowly. Divide the dough in half, cover with plastic wrap, and chill for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, and prepare the baking trays with parchment paper.
On a clean surface with a little flour, roll out the dough and cut out cookies in Christmas shapes. Transfer the cookies to the baking tray.
Bake the cookies without letting them darken for approximately 20 minutes.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool before taking them off the tray.
Decorate with your preferred frosting.
