If you have an upcoming event, try this recipe to make these cookies; it is super simple and easy to prepare, and it’s your imagination that will make them unique.
Preheat the oven to 180° C. Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper, and choose the cookie cutters of your choice.
Beat the butter until creamy, continuing to beat, add the sugar, egg white, vanilla, and flour along with the baking powder until fully integrated.
Divide the dough into three parts, wrap them in cling film, and refrigerate for at least half an hour.
On a flat, floured surface, use a rolling pin to roll out the dough to about half a centimeter thick. Cut out the cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake the cookies for approximately 12 to 15 minutes. They should take on a light golden color.
While the baked cookies cool, prepare the glaze to decorate them.
In the mixer, place the powdered sugar, egg white, and water, and beat at maximum speed until it reaches a consistency similar to frosting, not too stiff.
Separate the glaze into as many colors as desired, adding just a little food coloring to gradually achieve the desired intensity. At this point, if the glaze feels too stiff, you can add drops of water gradually until you reach the desired consistency.
Place the colored glaze into each piping bag (or a clean plastic bag) with a #2 tip for decorating and decorate.
