Ingredients

30 portions
  • 500 grams unsalted butter, ,at room temperature
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 5 cups sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • 250 milliliters Water
  • 1 egg white

Preparation

Preheated oven to 180 ° C. Prepare some baking sheets with waxed paper, and choose the cookie cutters of your choice.
Beat the butter until it creams without stopping beating, add the sugar, egg white, vanilla and flour together with the baking powder until completely integrated.
Separate the dough into three parts, and wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least half an hour.
On a flat and floured surface with the help of a rolling pin, spread the dough until it is approximately half a centimeter thick. The cookies are cut and placed on the previously prepared trays.
Bake the cookies for about 12 to 15 minutes. They have to take on a light golden color.
While the baked cookies are cooling, prepare the glass to decorate them.
In the blender, place the icing sugar, the egg white and the water, beat at maximum speed until it acquires a consistency like bitumen that is not so rigid.
Separate the glass into how many colors you want to paint, just with a little colorant so that they can give the intensity of the color little by little. At this point, if you feel that the glass is too hard, you can add drops of water little by little until you reach the desired consistency.
Place the colored glass in each piping bag (or a clean plastic bag) with a # 2 duya to decorate and decorate.

TIPS

The cookies have to be left to dry to be able to store them either in cellophane bags or in a container that closes hermetically.
