Ginger Cookies

  • 125 grams unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 100 grams syrup, golden
  • 1 egg
  • 350 grams flour
  • 2 tablespoons caramel
  • 3 teaspoons ginger powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 pinch salt

  • Beat the butter together with the sugar until it becomes a fluffy mixture and the butter turns lighter in color.
  • Next, beat the egg separately and gradually add it to the mixture, making sure it integrates well with the butter.
  • It's time to add the vanilla, caramel, and golden syrup.
  • Finally, add the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and a pinch of salt in batches, starting on low speed and finishing on high speed.
  • When you have the dough ready, roll it out between two sheets of parchment paper with the help of a rolling pin. Make sure the entire dough is of the same thickness.
  • Let the dough rest in the fridge for at least two to three hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Cut out the cookies and bake them for 12-15 minutes.
  • Let them cool and enjoy.
