300 grams flour
150 grams granulated sugar
150 grams lard
100 grams walnuts, toasted and chopped
2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
25 grams icing sugar, for dusting

Preheat the oven to 170°C.
Place the flour and the nut on a baking sheet and bake for a few minutes until toasted.
Let it cool and form a mound on the work surface. Add the cinnamon.
In the center of this mound, add the lard, the refined sugar, and begin to knead with your hands.
Place the dough in a bag and refrigerate for about 10 minutes to make it easier to handle.
Lightly flour the work surface and roll out the dough. Cut out the polvorones and bake for about 15 minutes.
Let them cool so you can handle them and dust them with powdered sugar.
