Tea Cookies

A very easy recipe to make quick and delicious cookies. They are ideal and versatile as they can accompany tea time.

  • 500 grams flour
  • 300 grams butter
  • 125 grams icing sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • vanilla essence

  • Cream the butter together with the sugar on a flat surface. Work the dough only with your fingers.
  • Add the eggs one by one, along with the salt and vanilla, and continue mixing slowly.
  • Gradually add the previously sifted flour until you have a non-sticky dough, and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, leaving it about 1 centimeter thick, and cut the cookies with your preferred cookie cutter.
  • Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes at 180°C or until they look golden.
