Oatmeal, Raisin, and Walnut Cookies

  • 200 grams raisins
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 150 grams butter
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder

  • Let the raisins rest in a bowl with two beaten eggs and two tablespoons of vanilla for 2 hours.
  • Mix 150 grams of butter with one cup of sugar.
  • After 2 hours, incorporate them with the butter and sugar mixture. Mix until a dough is formed.
  • Once the dough is ready, add two tablespoons of baking powder, 1 cup of chopped walnuts, 2 cups of oats, 1 1/2 cups of flour, and mix until you achieve a consistent texture.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Spread the dough evenly on a baking tray.
  • Put the tray in the oven for 13 minutes. After that, take the tray out and cut the dough with a knife or cookie cutter into the desired shape. Return the tray to the oven for another 13 minutes. Watch to ensure they don’t burn.
