Cake Bread Pudding

  • 500 grams bread, (cake)
  • 1 liter cow's milk
  • 30 brown sugar
  • 1/2 cans evaporated milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter , melted
  • raisins, to taste
  • liquid vanilla , to taste

  • Completely crumble the cake.
  • Beat the egg with the milks, sugar, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix with the bread crumbs and let rest for 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 230°C for 15 minutes while the mixture rests.
  • Add the raisins and mix again before putting it in the oven. Grease a mold or baking dish and pour in the mixture.
  • Finally, bake for 30 minutes at 200°C, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out dry. Let cool before unmolding.
