Chocolate-Covered Marzipan

It is traditional marzipan now covered with chocolate; dare to make it, it's very simple and delicious.

  • 100 grams almonds, ground or powdered

  • 40 grams cocoa butter

  • Preheat the oven to 170°C. Mix the almond with the sugar and add the egg white until a compact paste forms.
  • Cook in a double boiler for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly, then remove from heat and let cool.
  • Form the marzipan balls and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, then cool for a few minutes before unmolding.
  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave and add the cocoa butter, mixing well.
  • Dip each marzipan into the chocolate one by one and leave them until they harden.
