In a large bowl, mix the flour, eggs, oil, vanilla, and milk until all the ingredients are well combined.
Grease a round mold of approximately 28 cm, and pour in the caramel. Refrigerate it; once it's hard, place the pineapple slices in the mold and put a cherry in the center of each.
Carefully place the cake mixture over the pineapples and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Unmold and serve.
