Express Pineapple Upside Down Cake

  • 1 box vanilla cake
  • 1 can canned pineapple, in slices
  • 5 cherries , in syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cups sunflower oil
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1 tablespoon liquid vanilla
  • 1/2 cups caramel

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, eggs, oil, vanilla, and milk until all the ingredients are well combined.
  • Grease a round mold of approximately 28 cm, and pour in the caramel. Refrigerate it; once it's hard, place the pineapple slices in the mold and put a cherry in the center of each.
  • Carefully place the cake mixture over the pineapples and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Unmold and serve.
