Pinole Dessert

An original and Mexican dessert for this summer. It is very easy to prepare and tastes delicious, make it for your whole family and treat them to something different and delightful.

  • 1 liter cow's milk
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corn masa flour, Pinole
  • 1 tablespoon liquid chocolate, for decoration
  • 1 sprig peppermint, for decoration

  • In a pot over medium heat, combine milk, cinnamon, sugar, and pinole. Boil for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Place in a baking dish or mold for freezing.
  • Scrape and serve in individual cups.
