Rice with Dulce de Leche

One of the best no-bake desserts is undoubtedly rice pudding, and this is ideal for when you don't have much time to cook. Additionally, with this recipe, you can give a new flavor to dulce de leche and use few ingredients that are easy to find or that you may already have at home. To achieve a better texture in this rice with dulce de leche, rinse the rice before cooking it.

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup evaporated milk, 245 g
  • 1/2 cups dulce de leche, 350 g
  • 1/2 cups pecans, chopped 100 g
  • sticks cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • pecans, chopped, for garnish
  • vanilla cookies, for garnish

  • In a small pot, cook the rice with the water. When it starts to boil, reduce to low heat and let it cook until the liquid is almost completely evaporated.
  • Add evaporated milk, dulce de leche, walnut, cinnamon, and vanilla. Then chill.
  • Serve and garnish with chopped walnuts and vanilla cookies.
