Strawberry Chocoflan

  • 12 egg whites
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 cup flour , sifted
  • 1 cup cocoa, sifted
  • 1 package Strawberry Flavored Flan with D'Gari® Cream
  • 4 cups milk
  • strawberry , sliced, for decoration
  • cookie sticks with chocolate, for decoration

  • For the cake: Beat the egg whites with the sugar to stiff peaks, while in another bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until doubled in volume. Fold the yolks into the egg whites, add the vanilla, and gradually incorporate the flour and cocoa, mixing gently.
  • Pour the mixture into a round mold, previously greased with butter and flour. Bake at 180 °C for 25 minutes.
  • For the flan: Add the D’Gari® Strawberry Cream Flan and the milk in a pot, mix well, and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Serve the flan on top of the baked cake and refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.
  • Unmold the strawberry chocoflan, place it on a large plate, and decorate with sliced strawberries and breadsticks.
