  • Preheat the oven to 180º C.
  • Separate 6 egg whites from the yolks in different bowls. Whip 6 egg whites to stiff peaks with an electric mixer (it is very important that they reach stiff peaks before adding the other ingredients), once they are ready, gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat.
  • Beat the 6 yolks with a fork and add them to the mixture. Add the flour, milk, and vanilla. Beat until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • Butter and flour the mold that you will use. Pour the cake mixture into the mold until it is 3/4 full. Place it in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes (do not open the oven, always keep an eye on it) or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
