Preheat the oven to 180º C. Separate 6 egg whites from the yolks in different bowls. Whip 6 egg whites to stiff peaks with an electric mixer (it is very important that they reach stiff peaks before adding the other ingredients), once they are ready, gradually add the sugar while continuing to beat.
