Extra Fine Apple Pie

Delicious recipe for an extra fine apple pie, aromatic and crispy.

  • 1 green apple
  • 10 grams sugar, cinnamon
  • 200 grams butter, melted
  • 500 grams puff pastry
  • 10 grams icing sugar

  • Remove the core of the apple.
  • Use a mandoline to slice the apple with the skin on.
  • Roll out the puff pastry and use a rice plate to cut the dough and to cut 9 equal squares from the star paper to cover the plate.
  • Lay the pastry on the plate and brush with butter. Arrange the apple slices in a circle towards the center without leaving any gaps.
  • Brush the slices with butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Place the star-shaped paper with the stars facing outward, rotate the plate, and separate the dough from the filling.
  • Preheat the oven to 200° C and bake for 20 minutes, and it's ready.
