Flan in Tetrapak with Marshmallows

This flan is a creative and practical way to use elements we have at home, have fun, get creative, and give a twist to what we normally consume.

  • 1 1/4 cups milk, 350 ml
  • 3 cups marshmallows, mini or cut into small pieces, 200 g
  • 4 San Juan® eggs
  • 1 San Juan® egg whites carton
  • marshmallows, for decoration

  • In a bowl, mix the Huevo San Juan® and beat until fully incorporated. Set aside.
  • Heat the milk in a medium pot for 2 minutes and add the marshmallows, mixing for about 5 minutes until they dissolve. Add the Huevo San Juan® while continuing to beat; cook for 3 more minutes until the texture is thick.
  • Pour the Huevo San Juan® egg whites into the tetrapack container and let cool at room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator and let sit overnight.
  • Cut the container and unmold the flan by carefully sliding it onto a plate.
  • Decorate with marshmallows.
