Homemade Vanilla Flan

This is a family recipe for homemade vanilla flan, very delicious and simple.

  • 1/2 cups sugar, for the caramel
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 packages Philadelphia® cream cheese

  • Heat the sugar until it melts and turns caramel in color, set aside in the flan mold.
  • Blend all the ingredients.
  • Pour the mixture into a flan mold, cover with aluminum foil (to ensure it is well sealed).
  • Place in a water bath with 2 and a half cups of water in a pressure cooker for 15 minutes (counting from when the valve starts to whistle).
  • Cool, unmold, and refrigerate.
