Homemade Vanilla Flan

This is a family recipe of a homemade vanilla custard, very delicious and simple.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar for the candy
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 5 pieces of egg
  • 2 spoonfuls of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 package of Philadelphia® cream cheese

    Preparation

    Heat the sugar until it melts and remains caramel, reserve in the flanera.
    Blend all ingredients.
    Pour the mixture in a flanera, cover with aluminum foil (so that it is well sealed).
    Put in a water bath with 2 and a half cups of water in a pressure cooker for 15 minutes (counting them as the valve shrieks).
    Cool, unmold and put in the refrigerator.

    TIPS

    You can use more sugar to get more candy; and more eggs if we want the flan to be firmer.
