Mango and Caramel Flan

  • 1 cup sugar, for caramel
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup, for caramel
  • 1/4 cups water, for caramel
  • 1 cup condensed milk, for the flan
  • 1 can evaporated milk, for the flan
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence, for the flan
  • 1 1/2 cups mango, for the flan
  • 190 grams cream cheese, for the flan
  • 5 eggs, for the flan
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar, for decoration mango
  • 3 tablespoons butter, for decoration mango
  • 1 cup mango, cut into cubes, for decoration
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder

  • Preheat the oven to 170°C.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the sugar with the honey until it forms a caramel, pour the caramel into individual molds or a large flan mold, set aside.
  • Blend the ingredients for the flan.
  • Pour over the caramel in the molds or mold, bake for 45 minutes in a water bath. Let cool and refrigerate for 3 hours.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat with the sugar, pour in the butter, add the mango and cinnamon, cook until the mango is shiny. Set aside.
  • Unmold the flan and decorate with the caramelized mango. Enjoy.
