Simple Napolitano Flan

  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 grams camembert cheese, basket, cream or fresh
  • 1 dash vanilla essence
  • 1 cup sugar

  • Prepare the caramel by melting the sugar until it takes on a tamarind or dark brown color.
  • Place in the molds; if they are individual flan molds, it yields 8 portions. Set aside.
  • Blend the evaporated milk, condensed milk, cheese, eggs, and vanilla. Fill the molds.
  • In a steamer, place the molds and let cook until a stick or knife inserted comes out clean and dry. Approximately 45 minutes.
  • Let cool, unmold, and decorate with a cherry or mint.
