Strawberry Flan and Chocolate Mousse

  • 1 liter cow's milk, warm
  • 1 box D’Gari® strawberry flavored flan with cream, (84 g)
  • 1 cup whipping cream, hot
  • 1 1/2 cups bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • strawberries, halved, for decoration
  • peppermint, for decoration
  • milk chocolate, shredded, for decoration

  • For the flan, empty and mix the D'Gari® strawberry cream flan into the warm milk. Heat over low heat, stirring continuously until it comes to a boil, and cook for 3 minutes. Cool slightly.
  • Place glass cups in a deep container, tilting them at a 45° angle. Fill the cups halfway with the flan, taking care not to stain the sides, and refrigerate until set.
  • For the mousse, mix the warm heavy cream with the chocolate until fully integrated, ensuring there are no lumps. Gently fold in the whipped cream and place it in a pastry bag with a plain tip.
  • Once the flan has set, fill the cups to the top with the chocolate mousse, ensuring there are no air bubbles. Refrigerate until set.
  • Decorate the cups with strawberries, mint, and shredded chocolate.
