Fluffy mandarin dessert

  • 2 packages gelatin, orange flavor
  • 2 1/2 cups soda water
  • 2 cans mandarin orange wedges, drained
  • 1 cup couverture chocolate, COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground red pepper

  • Add the boiling water to the gelatin powder in a large bowl.
  • Stir for 3 minutes until fully dissolved.
  • Incorporate the carbonated water.
  • Pour the gelatin into 8 champagne glasses or dessert cups.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until it thickens.
  • Top it with the mandarins.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  • Combine the COOL WHIP topping with the pepper; use it to decorate the desserts just before serving.
