4 slices wholemeal bread
3 eggs, whole
1/2 liters cow's milk
2 pinches cinnamon
2 pinches cardamom
2 pinches clove powder
100 grams honey
400 grams butter

The honey should be mixed with a pinch of each spice.
Cut the slices of bread into 3 rectangles.
Beat the warm milk and eggs. Add a pinch of each spice.
Soak the slices in this mixture for 5 minutes.
Heat a non-stick pan and melt 10 grams of butter.
When the butter is hot, place the 6 rectangles of bread in the pan and fry over high heat for 1 minute on each side.
When they are golden on both sides, pour half of the honey over the visible side of the French toast.
Flip and fry over very high heat to caramelize.
