Fruit Cake Style Loaf

  • 1 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 1/2 cups Maizena® cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 150 grams Primavera® Cook Without Salt margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cups low-fat milk
  • 1/4 cups guava paste, diced
  • 1/4 cups fruit paste, diced apple
  • 1/4 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cups raisins, soaked in cinnamon tea
  • 1/4 cups maraschino cherries

  • Sift the flour with Maizena® Regular Cornstarch and baking powder. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat Margarina Primavera® Cocina until smooth. Add the eggs, milk, and flour mixture. Beat until there are no lumps.
  • Add the candied fruits, nuts, raisins, and cherries. Gently mix with a wooden spatula until combined. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf pan.
  • Bake at 180 °C for 35 minutes or until golden. Remove from the mold and serve.
