Angel Cake

  • 1/2 cups San Juan® egg whites
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 540 grams cake mix, Vanilla cake flour
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 4 cups raspberries
  • 500 milliliters whipped cream
  • 1/4 cups sugar

  • Preheat the oven to 190° Celsius. Grease a cake pan with butter.
  • In a bowl, mix San Juan® Egg Whites, cake flour, water, milk, and oil. Beat the mixture on low speed for 30 seconds, then beat the mixture on medium speed for 3 minutes. Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Bake for 35 minutes. Let the cake cool for 20 minutes.
  • Whip the cream with ¼ cup of sugar.
  • Marinate the raspberries with sugar, set aside until they start to release juice.
  • Cut the cake in half and add whipped cream.
  • Serve a slice, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and pour some of the raspberries over it.
