1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 can condensed milk
2 teaspoons vanilla essence
8 apples, medium
1/2 cups walnuts, chopped and toasted
200 grams chocolate, melted

Place wax paper on a baking sheet and apply butter to the paper.
Wash the apples and insert the wooden stick into them from the stem side.
In a pot, add the thermometer and put in the butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, and milk, bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Stir slowly until the thermometer reads 248 ºC.
Remove the pot from the heat and add the vanilla extract.
Dip each apple in the caramel and then in the nuts.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and drizzle the chocolate over the apples.
Place the apples on the wax paper and wait until the chocolate cools (put them in the refrigerator for a few minutes).
