Coffee Charlotte Dessert

  • 70 grams unflavored gelatin
  • 300 milliliters water
  • 10 grams instant coffee, (colcafé in Colombia)
  • 500 grams margarine
  • 800 milliliters condensed milk
  • 100 grams egg yolk
  • 2 pipes cookies, (type María or Ducales)
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk

  • Dissolve the gelatin in 300 milliliters of water and add the instant coffee. Heat and mix.
  • In a bowl, beat the margarine, egg yolks, and condensed milk. Gradually add the gelatin and coffee mixture and continue beating.
  • Place a layer of cookies (previously soaked in milk) in a baking dish and pour a little of the previous mixture.
  • Repeat this step until the mold is full. Refrigerate for about 1 hour, then decorate with whipped cream and fruits.
