Pumpkin Trifle

  • 1 1/4 cups pumpkin purée
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons ginger powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons clove powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons ground pepper
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 2 cups chantilly cream, (for decoration)
  • pecans, chopped (for decoration)
  • peppermint, to taste (for decoration)
  • 1 package cookies, vanilla

  • Place the cream cheese in the mixer and beat until smooth and lump-free.
  • Add the pumpkin puree, sugar, and ground spices.
  • Beat everything until well combined.
  • Put the heavy cream in another mixing bowl and whip until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the pumpkin mixture a little at a time.
  • Crush the ginger cookies and place a thick layer inside the baking dish.
  • On top, add a layer of the pumpkin mixture and then spread a layer of whipped cream; you can use a piping bag to place the pumpkin mixture and whipped cream for a better finish.
  • Repeat the layering process until the baking dish is filled.
  • Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top and decorate with a few mint leaves.
