Toasted Bread with Strawberry Jam

Toasted bread with strawberry jam is a very easy recipe to prepare. The acidity of the jam pairs perfectly with the toasted bread. The jam on bread recipe is ideal for a dessert or for a quick breakfast or dinner.

  • 1 package Bimbo® toasted bread
  • 1 kilo strawberries
  • 1 kilo sugar
  • 1/4 cups lime juice, yellow (eureka)

  • In a bowl, mash the strawberries with a potato masher.
  • Combine the strawberries in a pot, add the sugar and lemon. Cook over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  • Once the sugar has dissolved, increase the heat.
  • Pour the jam into previously sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator.
  • Spread a little of the jam on toasted bread and serve.
