Garibaldi Ring

With this easy recipe, we turn your favorite piece of bread into a delicious ring to share with your whole family. This fun ring has a spectacular flavor, is soft and fluffy, and is topped with a tasty apricot jam and white sprinkles. This Garibaldi ring is perfect to accompany with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee!

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 11 grams yeast
  • 2 San Juan® eggs
  • water
  • 1/2 cups butter
  • cooking spray
  • 1 cup apricot jam
  • 1 cup white nonpareil sprinkles

  • Add flour, sugar, salt, and yeast to a mixer and mix for 1 minute; add the Huevo San Juan® one by one and the water, beat until all ingredients are incorporated. Gradually add the butter and beat for 5 minutes until the dough is smooth.
  • On a board, shape 200-gram balls.
  • Spray the ring mold with cooking spray, place the balls around the ring, and spray them with a little more cooking spray. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 40 minutes or until it doubles in size.
  • Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes. Cool and unmold.
  • Brush with apricot jam and cover with white sprinkles.
