Glazed Chocolate Cookies

These Glazed Chocolate Cookies are very easy to prepare and perfect to accompany with a glass of cold milk, coffee, or tea.

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cups icing sugar

  • In a medium bowl, mix the cocoa, sugar, and vegetable oil
  • Add the eggs one at a time
  • Add the vanilla extract
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and stir with the cocoa mixture
  • Cover the dough and let it rest for at least 4 hours
  • Preheat the oven to 180°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Lightly grease your hands. Roll into balls and gently press them to flatten
  • Dust each cookie with powdered sugar before placing it on the trays. The sugar should only be on the top
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes
  • Let rest on the tray for one minute before transferring to a wire rack to cool
