2 sticks butter, at room temperature
3/4 cups sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 3/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup icing sugar, for the glaze
2 tablespoons lime juice, for the glaze
2 tablespoons lemon zest

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
In a mixer, add the butter and sugar, beat until combined. Add the egg yolk, vanilla extract, and lemon zest.
Incorporate the flour, salt, baking powder, and beat until you obtain a homogeneous dough. Refrigerate for 30 min.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough and cut with a cookie cutter.
Bake for 15 min. Let cool and set aside.
For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar with the lemon juice.
Spread the glaze over the cookies and decorate with lemon zest, let dry for 20 min and enjoy.
