Grilled Peaches with Cream

Grilling peaches caramelizes the natural sugar in the fruit, giving it a more intense flavor. These peaches are served with whipped cream and toasted almonds, very delicious!

1/2 cups almonds
8 peaches, halved and pitted
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cups whipped cream

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Spread the almonds on a baking sheet.
Place the almonds in the oven for 15 minutes, checking to make sure they don’t burn.
Transfer the almonds to a cutting board and chop them into pieces.
Prepare the grill with high heat.
Lightly grease the grill.
Place the peach halves rounded side down on the grill and cook until grill marks appear, about 2 minutes.
Using kitchen tongs, turn them over so they are face down. Cook for another 4 minutes.
Put 2 halves on each plate, fill with whipped cream, and sprinkle with the chopped almonds.
