Grilled peaches with cream

When cooking the peaches on the grill, the natural sugar of the fruit is caramelized, giving it a more intense flavor. These peaches are accompanied with whipped cream and toasted almonds, very rich!

1/2 cups almonds
8 peaches, cut in half without the bone
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cups whipped cream

Preheat the oven to 180 centigrade.
Put the almonds on a baking sheet.
Place the almonds in the oven for 15 minutes. Checking that they are not going to burn.
Pass the almonds to a chopping board and cut them into pieces.
Prepare the grill with high heat.
Grease the grill a little.
Place the peach halves with the rounded part facing down on the grill and cook until black marks appear on the grill, such as 2 minutes.
Using a kitchen tongs, turn them over so they are face down. Cook another 4 minutes.
Put 2 halves on each plate, fill with whipped cream and sprinkle with the chopped almonds.
