Grilled Peaches with Cream

Grilling peaches caramelizes the natural sugar in the fruit, giving it a more intense flavor. These peaches are served with whipped cream and toasted almonds, very delicious!

  • 1/2 cups almonds
  • 8 peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cups whipped cream

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Spread the almonds on a baking sheet.
  • Place the almonds in the oven for 15 minutes, checking to make sure they don’t burn.
  • Transfer the almonds to a cutting board and chop them into pieces.
  • Prepare the grill with high heat.
  • Lightly grease the grill.
  • Place the peach halves rounded side down on the grill and cook until grill marks appear, about 2 minutes.
  • Using kitchen tongs, turn them over so they are face down. Cook for another 4 minutes.
  • Put 2 halves on each plate, fill with whipped cream, and sprinkle with the chopped almonds.
