2 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup flour
2 liters vegetable oil, for frying
1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water, 2 1/2 tablespoons of sugar, salt, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Let it boil and remove from heat. Stir in the flour until a dough forms.
Heat oil for frying in a deep skillet or conical pot to 190°C.
Place the dough in a piping bag with a star tip.
Shape the churros and fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Mix 1/2 cup of cinnamon sugar. Toss the churros in this mixture.
