  • 500 grams marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cups vegetable shortening
  • 1 kilo icing sugar
  • 2 cups cornstarch

  • Place the marshmallows and water in a bowl and heat in the microwave until melted.
  • Grease the mixing bowl with vegetable shortening and add the melted marshmallows and powdered sugar, beat and gradually add the cornstarch until the marshmallow pulls away from the sides and becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Place the fondant in plastic wrap and let it rest for 1 hour.
  • Roll it out with a rolling pin and use it to decorate your favorite pastries.
