  • Activate the yeast: Place the dry yeast in a bowl and pour in the warm milk, mix and let rest for 10 minutes. You will notice a slight layer of bubbles forming on the milk, which means the yeast has activated correctly.
  • Place the flour on a flat surface to form a volcano with the help of your hands. Then add the sugar, salt, and eggs, and start to combine. Gradually pour in the milk with the activated yeast, then mix with your hands or a pastry scraper. You should obtain a uniform and compact mixture.
  • Once you have this compact mixture, flatten it a bit with your hands, then add the butter in the center and incorporate it. Knead for 15 minutes until you obtain a homogeneous and smooth mixture.
  • Place the dough in a bowl previously greased with cooking spray, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 1 hour in a warm place or until the dough rises and doubles in size.
  • Once the dough has rested enough, roll it out on a floured surface to a thickness of 2 cm with a rolling pin. Let it rest for 10 minutes, this will prevent the donuts from becoming dense when cutting.
  • Cut the donuts with a cutter or a ring of 6 cm in diameter and then use a piping tip, lid, or a smaller cutter to make the center of the donut (do not discard this center).
  • Fry the donut in enough hot vegetable oil over medium-low heat on both sides for about 6 minutes. Drain and set aside. Do the same with the donut centers, so that you get some spheres.
  • Glaze the donut with chocolate, icing, or sugar with cinnamon. Enjoy!
