Do you love the stuffed churros sold on the street? Don't worry, here we give you the recipe to learn how to make homemade stuffed churros. Thanks to Tres Estrellas® Churro Flour, these will be super easy and quick to prepare.
Heat the water in a pot over high heat for 10 minutes or until it starts to boil vigorously. Remove from heat.
Mix Tres Estrellas® churro flour with boiling water in a bowl, use a wooden spatula, and combine for 20 seconds or until you obtain a homogeneous dough; this dough does not have to be smooth or elastic. Remember that the consistency should be similar to paste.
Place the churro dough in a piping bag with a star tip and set aside.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon on a flat plate until completely combined. Set aside.
Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat, and when the oil is ready, pour small churros of 5 cm long with the piping bag and cut with scissors. Flip the churros and constantly bathe them with oil until they are golden. Remove from the oil and place on a tray with absorbent paper. Immediately afterward, place them on a plate with sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
Use a round wooden stick to open the churros and insert it along the churros without reaching the other end. Set aside.
Place the chocolate in a piping bag, the same with the caramel and condensed milk. Make a small hole with scissors in the piping bag to fill the churros. Fill each churro by squeezing slowly until you reach the other end, but be careful not to squeeze too hard, as you might break the churro.
Place the stuffed churros in a basket lined with wax paper and enjoy!
