Gelatin with Evaporated Milk

Delicious gelatin ideal to use as a base. It will yield more than you think and enhance the flavors with which you combine it. You must try it!

  • 1 can evaporated milk 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 can condensed milk 1 can condensed milk
  • 21 grams unflavored gelatin powder 21 grams unflavored gelatin powder
  • 250 milliliters water, at room temperature 250 milliliters water, at room temperature

  • Hydrate the gelatin in the water until it swells and set aside.
  • Add 750 ml of milk, the evaporated milk, and the cinnamon stick to a container.
  • Once the previous mixture is hot (before it boils), add the condensed milk and the teaspoon of vanilla essence while stirring, wait for it to boil for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Heat the gelatin until it becomes liquid. This can be done in a double boiler or in the microwave in 15-second intervals.
  • Mix the liquid gelatin with the milk. Wait until it cools enough to pour into the mold or individual molds.
