Nogada Gelatin Recipe

The Patriotic Holidays are the perfect excuse to organize a taquiza or a kermés and enjoy all kinds of Mexican snacks. Many prefer pambazos and tostadas, while others prefer the typical seasonal delicacy: chiles en nogada.This dish has over 200 years of history, and as we are always looking to innovate, we gave it a twist by creating a sweet recipe inspired by this delicacy: a gelatin with the flavor of nogada! To prepare it, you will only need walnut, cream cheese, and D’Gari® gelatin in condensed milk flavor, so roll up your sleeves and shout: ¡Viva México and its gastronomy!Click here to see more gelatins!

  • 2 cups whole milk, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups cream cheese, in medium cubes
  • 1 cup walnuts, peeled
  • 2 cups whole milk, hot
  • 1 bag D'Gari® gelatin condensed milk flavor
  • pomegranate, de-seeded, for decoration
  • walnuts, chopped, for decoration
  • fruit paste, in strips, for decoration

  • Pour the hot milk into a bowl, add the D’Gari® gelatin in condensed milk flavor, mix very well, and make sure no bubbles form.
  • In a blender, place the milk at room temperature, cream cheese, and walnut. Blend for 5 minutes and set aside.
  • When the gelatin has dissolved, incorporate the walnut and cream cheese mixture.
  • Mix, pour into a bundt mold, and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  • Unmold the nogada gelatin and decorate with pomegranate, green ate, and walnut; enjoy with family!
