Rice Pudding Gelatin

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 liters cow's milk
  • 1 1/2 cups rice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • orange peels
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder, hydrated and liquid (7 g each)

  • Heat a small pot over medium heat with the water and milk, add the rice with the cinnamon, salt, orange peel, and zest, add the sugar and mix well. Add the vanilla extract and cook until the rice is tender.
  • Remove from heat, add the hydrated gelatin and pour the mixture into a previously greased mold. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set.
  • Unmold the gelatin, decorate with cinnamon sticks. Serve and enjoy.
