Rompope and Chocolate Gelatin

  • 2 cups cow's milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups rompope
  • 1/2 cups condensed milk
  • 6 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder, (7g each) hydrated and melted
  • 2 cups cow's milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups hazelnut chocolate cream
  • 6 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder, (7g each) hydrated and melted

  • Heat the milk with the evaporated milk and add the rompope, condensed milk, and gelatin. Mix very well.
  • Pour into a gelatin mold filling ¼ of it, refrigerate until set. Reserve the rest of the mixture.
  • For the chocolate gelatin, heat the milk with the evaporated milk and dissolve the hazelnut cream and the gelatin. Cool, ensuring it doesn't set.
  • Pour over the previously set rompope gelatin filling half the mold. Refrigerate until set.
  • Repeat this process alternating the colors until the mold is filled.
  • Unmold and place on a round platter.
