  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • For the cake, beat the butter with the sugar until creamy. Add the eggs one by one and the vanilla. Alternate the dry ingredients with the milk and beat until you have a smooth and even mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Smooth it out with a spatula or scraper and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked. Cool.
  • Unmold the cake, trim if necessary, and cut into 6 equal rectangles. Set aside.
  • For the frosting, mix the hot cream with the chocolate until fully combined and the chocolate is melted by the hot cream. Let it cool slightly and refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until cold.
  • Beat the cooled chocolate mixture until it doubles in volume.
  • Cut 4 pieces of Kit Kat® into small pieces with the help of a knife, set aside.
  • For assembly, place a bit of frosting on one of the cake layers and sprinkle with pieces of Kit Kat®, repeating until all layers are done. Cover the cake with the remaining frosting and smooth it out well.
  • Cover the sides of the cake with Kit Kat® bars by sticking them with the frosting. Decorate with rosettes and pieces of chocolate on top.
